The gin menu is varied and delicious.Great fresh food with good options and flexibility for vegetarians.Service was impressive- shout out to Joel who was our server for the night. He was very knowledgable, charming and fun.
All the dishes were well thought out with interesting, sometimes surprising combinations of ingredients. The main course of slow cooked lamb shoulder was a real standout. Caramelized melt in the mouth deliciousness.Joel not only looked after us extremely well but also suggested the wines, which complemented the food to perfection.If you are in the Clare region I recommend giving it a try.A most enjoyable evening.
Great food. Best restaurant in Clare. We had a large group and chose the tasting menu. You get 2 individual dishes followed by 2 shared dishes for your money. The 12 hr lamb was amazing however the duck seemed to be a little tough. The decor was excellent as well.
Definitely must try the 'feed me' menu, it is a good opportunity to try things you wouldn't normally try on the menu. Wine and spirit list is expansive and includes a lot of wines from the Clare region, including wines that aren't available at cellar doors. The interior is quite trendy, putting a modern twist on the rustic feel. Have been a couple of times and yet to be disappointed. Is far from a cheap bite to eat, but you get what you pay for. Perfect for a romantic dinner or an anniversary dinner.
